What services do you offer?
I provide professional bookkeeping services for small businesses and sole traders, including bookkeeping, payroll management, VAT returns, and Self Assessment tax returns.

Where are you based and do you work remotely?
I am based in Water Orton, North Warwickshire. I support local clients in the surrounding areas of Birmingham and also work remotely with clients across the UK.
Are you qualified and regulated?
Yes. I am a Certified Bookkeeper and a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB PM.DIP). I am fully licensed and regulated by the ICB and comply with all relevant regulations.
Are you insured?
Yes. Bookkeeper 24/7 holds Professional Indemnity Insurance and is covered by Qdos Insurance, giving clients peace of mind that their accounts are protected.
How often will you work on my books?
This depends on your business and your requirements. Bookkeeping can be completed weekly, monthly, or quarterly — whichever best suits your needs.
What information do you need from me?
You’ll need to provide bank statements, invoices, receipts, and any other relevant financial records. I’ll explain exactly what’s required and make the process as simple as possible.
Can you help if my books are behind?
Yes. If your bookkeeping is behind or disorganised, I can help bring everything up to date and get your records back in order.
Do you handle VAT returns?
Yes. I prepare and submit VAT returns using your financial records and submit them directly to HMRC on your behalf.
What are the key HMRC deadlines I should be aware of?
The following are common HMRC deadlines (guide only):
5 October – Register for Self Assessment if you have not submitted a tax return before
31 October – Deadline for paper Self Assessment tax returns
31 January – Deadline for online Self Assessment submission and payment
31 July – Second payment on account (if applicable)
Corporation Tax – Payable 9 months and 1 day after the end of your accounting period
